The 2019 F&F Annual Tour was at Ian Coley Shooting Ground in Andoversford near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. A big thank you to the team there for making us very welcome and looking after us on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A special thanks to Matt Panter from the Gun Room for looking after our guns during our stay. A fantastic shooting ground with some amazing traps and a very professional set up. No doubt one we will visit again soon. A great trip all round with some challenging shooting and reasonable weather. A special ‘Thank You’ from everyone that attended to our travel agent Brendan for doing a fantastic job of arranging everything and getting everyone in the right place at the right time - A considerable challenge indeed for the F&F gang, much like herding cats !!! A mention must go out to The Grill 49 for some amazing steaks on Saturday, a great choice with fantastic food, service and a lot of red wine!! And, not forgetting the 288 Bar & Wok on Wednesday and Friday (so good we went twice!), a great Chinese with friendly staff and great food.
The Trophies
This year we have Trophies for ‘High Gun’, 2 nd and 3 rd place in straight shooting, plus a ‘Wooden Spoon’ for the worst overall straight score. In the handicap shooting we have Trophies for 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place and a new Trophy for 2019, the best DTL (Down The Line) score. In addition we have the ‘Founders Trophy’ which was introduced at the 30 th Anniversary Tour in 2015 by 3 of the original founding members of the club, Brian, Roy & George. This Trophy is in recognition of contribution to the F&F Gun Club during the year and the current holder chooses who this will be passed to at each Annual Tour.

The Founders Trophy was awarded to Andy Catton for his outstanding contributions to the Club. Andy lives a long way from the shoot and has an early start to get there in time but always gets stuck in to help out with setting up, organising and packing away. A truly dedicated member of the club and a well deserved reward. Thanks from the whole club for all your support and dedication.
