The 2017 F&F Annual Tour was at the Pinewood Shooting Ground in Blyton, Lincolnshire. A big
thank you from all of us for making us very welcome and looking after us on Friday & Saturday.
A great trip all round with some very challenging shooting. The
weather not quite as good as last year but nevertheless it didn’t
spoil a great weekend away. As always, a very special ‘Thank You’
from the whole club to our resident Travel Agent, Brendan, for doing
a fantastic job of arranging everything and getting a bunch of
awkward buggers all in the right place at the right time - not an
easy task by any means when it comes to F&F!!
A mention must go out to Huckleberrys restaurant in Lincoln for
some fantastic Steaks, Ribs and Cocktails. Compliments to all the
staff for a fantastic experience and a special thanks to the waitress
for putting up with us!!
The Trophies
This year we have Trophies for ‘High Gun’, 2
nd
and 3
rd
place in straight shooting, plus a ‘Wooden
Spoon’ for the worst overall straight score.
In the handicap shooting we have Trophies for 1
st
, 2
nd
and 3
rd
place, plus a ‘Wooden Spoon’ for the
worst overall handicap score.
In addition we have the ‘Founders Trophy’ which was introduced at the 30
th
Anniversary Tour in 2015
by the original founding members of the club. This Trophy is in recognition of contribution to the
F&F Gun Club during the year and the current holder chooses who this will be passed to at each
Annual Tour.
Straight Shooting Results
Below is the breakdown of the final scores for Straight Shooting. Friday was split into a morning
session of 90 clays and an afternoon session of 60 clays. Saturday was split into a morning session

The Founders Trophy was awarded to Ruth & Tony for
their outstanding contributions to the Club.
Ruth & Tony are both very dedicated members of the
F&F Club and have been providing us with Ruthie’s
Café every shoot - something we will miss when they
move to Cornwall ….
Truly dedicated committee members and a well
deserved reward. Ruth & Tony were not at the
Lincolnshire trip so the award will be presented at the
next shoot in June.
Thanks from the whole club for all your support and
dedication.
