The 2016 F&F Annual Tour was to the fabulous North Devon Shooting Ground in Ilfracombe, North Devon. A big thank you from all of us to Clive & Jackie for making us very welcome and looking after us on Friday & Saturday. A great trip all round with fabulous weather and some excellent shooting. As always, a very special ‘Thank You’ from the whole club to our resident Travel Agent, Brendan, for doing a fantastic job of arranging everything - not an easy task by any means looking after the F&F awkward bunch!! A mention must go out to Alfie & the Kaiser restaurant in Ilfracombe for putting up with us and some fantastic steaks. Compliments to all the staff for a fantastic experience and a special thanks to waitress for the speedy recovery of Tim’s Dentures - a night we’ll never forget!!
The Trophies
This year we have Trophies for ‘High Gun’, 2 nd and 3 rd place in straight shooting, plus a ‘Wonky Donkey’ for the worst overall straight score. In the handicap shooting we have Trophies for 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place, plus a ‘Wooden Spoon’ for the worst overall handicap score. In addition we have the ‘Founders Trophy’ which was introduced at the 30 th Anniversary Tour in 2015 by the original founding members of the club.
